Coverage and Limitations
BUPi only contains voluntarily registered rural and mixed properties — roughly 28% of continental Portugal as of this release.
Urban areas such as Lisbon and Porto are largely unregistered. Urban properties and the Autonomous Region of the Azores are not covered by this app.
The data published by BUPi is anonymous: owner names are never shown.
Data Sources
BUPi
Property boundaries are sourced from the open data published by Balcão Único do Prédio (BUPi) on dados.gov.pt.
DGT / CAOP
District and municipality boundaries come from Portugal's Official Administrative Map (CAOP) published by Direção-Geral do Território.
Esri
Satellite imagery is served by the World Imagery service from Esri and its partners.
