No internet connection is required to use SlimPix.
SlimPix only accesses files that you explicitly drag and drop into the application or select through the file picker. The app operates within macOS sandbox restrictions and cannot access files without your permission.
When you enable the "Strip Metadata" option, SlimPix removes EXIF data, GPS coordinates, camera information, and other metadata from your images. This data is discarded locally and is never transmitted anywhere.
SlimPix does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
SlimPix is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain data as described in their privacy policy. This is independent of SlimPix and is governed by Apple's terms.
