Privacy Policy

1. Summary

Screen2Store runs entirely on your Mac. It has no server, no account system, and does not transmit anything about you, your projects or the screenshots you import. There is nothing to opt out of because nothing is collected.

2. What Screen2Store reads from your Mac

Screen2Store is a sandboxed macOS application. It only reads files you explicitly drag onto its canvas or select via a file picker — typically your own raw screenshot PNGs and any custom background images you choose to use. The app additionally enumerates the public macOS system wallpaper folder (/System/Library/Desktop Pictures/) so it can offer those images as background presets.

Imported images are copied into the app's sandbox container under Application Support → Screen2Store and referenced from there. They never leave your Mac.

3. What Screen2Store writes

The exported PNGs are written to a folder you pick yourself via the standard macOS save panel. Screen2Store cannot write anywhere else without an explicit user-granted scope.

4. What Screen2Store does not collect

No personally identifying information
No account or login data — there is no account system
No analytics, telemetry, crash reports or usage tracking
No advertising identifiers
No network requests to any Screen2Store servers — because there are no Screen2Store servers

5. Third-party services

Screen2Store uses only Apple system frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, Foundation, AppKit). No third-party SDKs, analytics or advertising services are bundled.

6. Children's privacy

Screen2Store is a general-audience developer/designer tool. It does not knowingly process data from children under 13.

7. Changes

If this policy changes in a future version, the updated date at the top will reflect it. Because no information is stored by us, there is nothing to migrate or delete.
