1. Introduction

Fugiu! ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use the mobile application.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Location

If you grant permission, Fugiu! accesses your device's location to:

Automatically show the nearest coastal spot with its sea conditions
Compute sunrise/sunset and moonrise/moonset for your location
Geotag catches you choose to record

Location is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.

2.2 Camera and Photos

With your permission the app can access the camera and photo library to attach images to your catch log. Photos are stored on your device inside the app's local database.

2.3 App Settings and Data

Your preferences, catch records, license reminders and sea-conditions cache are stored locally on the device (UserDefaults and SwiftData).

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

Personal identification information
Account or login data (there is no account)
Usage analytics or tracking
Your location sent to any external server
Your photos or catches sent to any external server

4. Advertising

Fugiu! shows no ads and uses no advertising SDKs.

5. Third-Party Services

Fugiu! retrieves public data from:

IPMA: Marine forecasts and weather observations
Open-Meteo: Swell, wave and wind data
SNIRH: Reservoir storage levels
Apple (CoreLocation, MapKit): Location and map services

These services may log standard web request data (IP address, timestamp) according to their own privacy policies.

6. Notifications

If you enable license reminders, the app uses local notifications. They are scheduled entirely on your device — no server is involved.

7. Children's Privacy

Fugiu! does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.

8. Your Rights

You can deny or revoke location, camera and photo permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
You can disable notifications in iOS Settings.
You can delete the app at any time to remove all locally stored data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

10. App Store Compliance

Fugiu! is available on the Apple App Store and complies with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines regarding privacy and data handling.
